Day 5 of the 50th Annual World Series of Poker Main Event begins today at noon Pacific Time, with RunGood Ambassador Chance Kornuth entering the day with 1,221,000 chips. Kornuth is a two-time WSOP bracelet winner with championship titles from the EPT, Aussie Millions, Bellagio Cup, and WPT, as well as final table appearances at the PCA, Aria High Roller, and HPT. The average stack at this stage of the tournament is 1,452,373 chips and the blinds will start at 12,000/24,000 with a 24,000 ante.
RunGood Ambassador Bryan Campanello, who bagged the overall chip lead on Day 1A, lost a coinflip to exit on Day 4. Campanello three-bet shoved for 263,000 chips with A♥T♠; the original raiser called and tabled 8♥8♦. The board ran out A♣8♠4♦6♥T♣, giving Campanello two pair against his opponent's set of eights. Campanello exited in 435th place and collected $30,780 in prize money.
Other RGPS regulars in the field include Michael Lech (1,383,000), Will Berry (639,000), and Brady Bullard (3,430,000).
