Tulsa, OK December 7, 2015: The fall season of the RunGood Poker Series, dubbed the “Road to the RunGood Cup,” makes its final stop at Harrah’s New Orleans for a Championship Main Event December 10-13. The Championship Main Event will be priced at $675. In addition to complimentary accommodations at the Royal Saint Charles hotel and $675 buy-in to the Championship Event, the 32 VIPs and their guests will be treated to three private events in New Orleans:
- 12/10 - Welcome Dinner/Drinks at Tujague’s, 823 Decatur Street
- 12/11 - NBA, Pelicans vs. Wizards, Smoothie King Center, 1501 Dave Dixon Drive

“Ever since I first traveled to the ‘Big Easy’ in 2008, New Orleans has always ranked high on my list of destinations for a poker event," said PokerNews Editor-in-Chief Donnie Peters. "It’s vibrant, cultured, jazzy, and historical, and we all know how much the city likes to party. Combine all of that with a fun, competitive poker tournament such as the RunGood Cup Championship and we’re talking about a spicy recipe for success that could rival some of the best Cajun cuisine the area has to offer. And trust me, you’re definitely going to want to get out and taste the town. If you’re looking for an affordable way to close out the poker year with a bang, this is the stop.” (Full Story)
This will be the first time RunGood and the RGPS have traveled to The Big Easy. Harrah’s New Orleans poker room manager Dawn Terre said, “[We] are excited to be hosting the RunGood Cup Championship. This is a great chance for everyone to play in the Gulf South’s largest poker room where we combine the excitement of poker with our Southern hospitality. Harrah’s and the city of New Orleans are gearing up for this great tournament.”
Three starting flights are scheduled to begin at 12:00 p.m. for each of the first three days of the series: Flight A on Thursday (12/10), Flight B on Friday (12/11), and Flight C on Saturday (12/12). Play will be halted at 6:30 p.m. for each starting flight, with the surviving players combining at 12:00 p.m. Sunday (12/13) to play down to a winner. In addition to first place prize money the Championship Event winner will take home the enormous RunGood Cup.
