Today was not meant to be for Dan Lowery (pictured), who ran deep but also ran bad down the stretch in today's Main Event. Lowery doubled up Roger Bennett and then took a beat against Michael Beaty to exit in third place.

On a flop of 532♣, Lowery bet 60,000 and Bennett shoved for about 600,000 in a blind versus blind battle. Lowery called with 6♠5♠ and had a lot to fade against Bennett 42. The 10 hit the turn to give Bennett the pot.

A few hands later, Beaty opened the small blind to 105,000 and Lowery three-bet the big blind for 260,000. Lowery shoved for 860,000 and Beaty called with A♣8.

Lowery's AQ had the lead but the 9♣8♠3 flop changed that. The 5 turn and 7 river sealed Lowery's third-place finish. Heads up play is underway between Beaty and Bennett for the RunGood title.

Michael Beaty - 3,975,000 (132 bb)
Roger Bennett - 1,225,000 (41 bb)
