In one of the largest fields of 2016, Michael Lech took second in a field of 6,761 to earn over $400,000 in the World Series of Poker Crazy Eights event. Lech gained some notoriety among the United States audience for the finish but he is probably better known in live and virtual card rooms across South America.
For the past few years, Lech has traveled around the continent playing online poker and some of the formerly known LAPT events. A true renaissance man by the measure of his lifestyle, Lech is back to his roots in the US and fresh off a deep run in the Poker Night in America Main Event in Choctaw.
Who knows where Lech will be off to next once he is done in Kansas City but for this weekend at least, Lech is ready to grind once again in pursuit of his first career RunGood Main Event title.
