As the field continues to increase on Day 1B, more players are jumping in the field who you might recognize from one walk of life or another.
The second stop on the Spring Brawl tour was in Council Bluffs a few weeks ago and in the prelim DeepStack event, it was Josh Sandoval taking home the KO Watch and over $8,000 first place prize. Sandoval cashed in the RunGood Tulsa Main Event last May is playing to take home not just another watch, but the RunGood Championship Belt.
More locals are turning out for Day 1B and Will Monie is among them. Monie works in the insurance business and is plenty familiar with analyzing the risk that comes with playing tournament poker. Given the amount of Kansas City natives that are in the Main Event field, odds are at least one of them will make a deep run and Monie hopes to be the one that emerges from the pack.
