No player made more of a name for themselves in Oklahoma poker in 2017 than Jon Bennett. The Oklahoma City local made final tables across the state and opened his run of success at this time last year. Bennett placed seventh in the RG Tulsa Spring Brawl Main Event and the sky became the limit from there.
By the time December wrapped up, Bennett reached the top-10 in six Oklahoma-based Main Events with three of those finishes coming in a RG Main Event. The year concluded with Bennett walking out of Downstream Casino with another RG final table.
Bennett is off to a fast start in 2018. He took fourth in a field of 1,570 in the WSOP Circuit Monster Stack event at Choctaw. A major win eludes Bennett and Tulsa is the perfect place to take the first step into the winner's circle.
