Brian Ray (Norman, OK)
It didn't take long for the action to pick up at the start of Level 19 as two players hit the rail in the first few minutes of the restart. Brian Ray and Kevin Reece were both under 20 big blinds at the start of the level and are now on the outside looking in.
Ray was the first to go with the reign of Gil George continuing his reign of terror over the field. George opened from under the gun and Ray shoved for 200,000 from a few seats over. George called and it was a flip for Ray's tournament life with Ray holding the
pair 10♥10♦ against the A♥K♥ of George. An ace on the flop effectively ended the hand and George is now up to 1,750,000.
Kevin Reece (Oklahoma City, OK)
The next table over had Reece meeting his demise with Matt Newcombe playing the role of executioner. Greg Jennings opened for 25,000 from early position and Newcombe three-bet to about 90,000. Reece called all-in for about 40,000 from the big blind leaving Jennings to a decision. He eventually let his hand go and Newcombe showed A♥A♣. Reece needed help with Q♦10♦ but an ace on the flop effectively ended the hand and Newcombe stacked up to 800,000 once the dust settled.
