Level 13 (1,500/3,000/500)
Total Entrants: 346
Players Remaining: 58
Chip Average: 119,500
In the first 15 minutes of Level 13, a few players have hit the rail with the start of day chip leaders getting stronger. RunGood's Bernard Lee (pictured) and Day 1A leader Jesse Jones felted respective opponents and are now #1 and #2 on the leaderboard.
On a flop of K♦7♣5♠, Jeff Tebben got the 70,000 he had behind in the middle with K♥J♥ but ran into the A♣A♦ of Lee. The board bricked out and Lee chipped up to 360,000.
A few hands later, Lee gave 40,000 back when his A♠10♥ fell to the A♣Q♦ of Linda Kittle, who doubled up. Lee is the current chip leader and the only player over 300,000.
On an adjacent table, Jones opened under the gun for a standard raise and Shane James shoved for 42,000 in middle position. Jones called right away with J♥J♠ and the 10♦10♠ of James was in rough shape. The board ran nine-high and James picked up the pot to move up to 285,000, putting him in second behind Lee for the time being.
