RG Main Events are a staple for players in either their first tournament or 100th. Both ends of the spectrum are met with Josh Floyd and Cody Pack. The two Georgia natives made the trip to Tunica for the weekend.
Pack (pictured) is well familiar with RG tournaments and earned a seat on the RG Cruise via a final table finish at Downstream last December. The circuit grinder is looking to add a RG Main Event title to his strong total of five WSOP Circuit rings.
For Floyd (pictured), this weekend marks his first live tournament outside of local home games. Pack brought a few more friends with him from Georgia this weekend and Floyd hopes to be the last one standing and perhaps make the final table before all is said and done.
RG tournaments pull together all the demographics and this pair are one of many in the Day 1B field with a chance to write their own story by the end of Championship Sunday.
