Chase Turner (pictured) was one of the shortest stacks left in the Day 2 field when dinner break resumed. Turner needed help to come back and found it in the form of two double-ups with quads.
Turner shoved for 143,000 under the gun and Ray Henson reshoved for 350,000 in the hijack. All other players folded and Turner was flipping with 5♦5♠ against the A♣9♣ of Henson. The K♠Q♠5♣ flop was good for Turner and he picked up quads on the 5♥ turn to lock up the pot. Henson is stuck with 110,000.
A few hands later, Chris Babb raised the button to 60,000 and Turner moved all-in for 296,000 out of the big blind. Babb called with A♦10♣ and was in hell against the Q♥Q♠ of Turner. The Q♦9♣7♣ flop brought another set and the Q♣ turn was another high hand for Turner.
Babb is down to 610,000 and Turner is at his Day 2 peak with 675,000.
