RGPS: DOWNSTREAM CASINO CROWNS SAM WASHBURN CASINO CHAMPION

Congratulations to Sam Washburn for winning himself a Pro-Am qualifier seat to be hosted by PokerGO this December!  Sam came in to the day leading the pack with 32.5 points, after final tabling two events earlier this week.  He hadn't bagged chips in the Main Event and wasn't confident with his 7.5 point lead, so he specifically stuck around to play ring event #6, the Closer.  He busted before the money so he had to sweat out the final 2 events.  Once all players that could catch him in event #6 were eliminated, he had to still wait to see how Jacob Seale would finish in the Main Event.  With a 5th place finish, Seale would tie Washburn in points but have him in the tiebreaker, which is total money won.  Seale ended up busting in 6th place and Washburn's fate was sealed.  Congratulations, Sam!  We know you will represent the Joplin Grinders well!
