She may have gotten married in Sin City this summer, but for Omaha's Sarah Zeluf (pictured) it was anything but a honeymoon.
"I got married in Las Vegas, and played in the WSOP Marathon three days later," she says. "But don't ask me how that went."
While that tournament may not have turned out well, Zeluf has some nice finishes here in Council Bluffs. In September 2017, she won the Holiday Horseshoe Poker Classic for $17,817. She also finished 10th in the Main Event at the RGPS Kansas City for $3,293.
She's hoping for a nice score here and also hoping to go on that honeymoon soon.
"I don't think you can really call Vegas a honeymoon," she says with a laugh. "Vegas can kind of suck your soul."
Zeluf's choice is now a little more tropical – Cancun, Mexico. A win here would offer a great chance to cover the whole trip.
