Poker isn't the only card game in which Tim Anstine (pictured) competes. The Omaha native and regular here at the Horseshoe has more than $45,000 in live tournament cashes, but is also a bridge player.
"It's a competitive card game that really requires to keep your wits," he says.
Unlike poker, it also requires playing with a partner. The 61-year-old retired mortgage broker has become a regular player on the RGPS and cashed in two events here in Council Bluffs last year.
"I really like the RunGood events," he says. "It's a nice tournament structure."
Anstine is hoping for a nice score here at his home casino, but can always head back to the bridge tables too.
"That's my first love," he says. "Bridge is my wife, but poker is my mistress. But bridge only costs seven bucks to play."
