Level 9 (600/1,200/1,200)
Total Entrants: 88

Eric Quandt during a pause in the action table mate John Reynolds chimed in quickly with an unusual moniker, "Seabiscuit."  Quandt himself was puzzled about its source. Reynolds explained that in years past Quandt had a knack for coming back from chip-and-a-chair territory. Seabiscuit would be a last lone chip.

Quandt is a local attorney who is still getting back into playing action after serving as a Tulsa District Judge for six years. Returning to being a practicing attorney in 2015 he mentioned he didn't play often while on the bench and that a great deal of his cashes came before his bench years save for a couple in the defunct Winter Poker Open at Caesar's Las Vegas.

Level 9 finds him with a larger pile of chips in the room than most.  He doesn't plan on revisting seabiscuit territory anytime soon.
