Tulsa, OK — In a stunning move that has poker forums buzzing and floor staff trembling, the RunGood Poker Series (RGPS) has officially welcomed poker pro and structure savant Allen “Chainsaw” Kessler as its newest Bay Area Regional Tournament Director.

Known for his laser focus on level lengths, min-cashes, and the optimal big blind ante structure, Kessler has long been the unofficial watchdog of the tournament world. Now, he’ll finally have the clipboard to match.
“This is my dream job,” said Kessler, who was last seen redlining a blind structure with a ruler and calculator. “I’ve been critiquing tournament formats for two decades. It’s about time someone gave me the keys.”
RGPS President Tana Karn confirmed the hire with a statement:
“We just couldn’t take another tweet. Rather than get ratioed every time we post a structure sheet, we figured we’d just hire him.”
In his new role, Kessler will be tasked with refining tournament formats, monitoring payout charts, and issuing citations for any casinos that dare to serve any undercooked steak in the employees dining area. Rumors are already circulating that 15-minute breaks will now be 17 minutes.
Addendum: Allen Kessler Joins the RunGood Poker Series as Bay Area Regional Tournament Director for a Day.
