Tulsa, OK tends to be an easy drive for many poker communities around the area. One of them being Springfield, Missouri. About a two hour trek between the two cities, we see Cory Aurentz and Dustin Hill in the mix today.
According to Hendon Mob, Cory Aurentz has been playing poker dating back to 2008 with his first cash in Tulsa at the Scotty Nguyen Poker Challenge finishing fifth for $1,691. More recently, Aurentz found a trio of cashes at RunGood Poker Series events at Downstream Casino in 2019 and 2020. Today he hopes to log a 2022 cash to add on to his poker resume.
Our other Springfield, MO resident is Dustin Hill. His poker resume on Hendon Mob dates back to 2011 for his first cash at Liz Flynt Spring Poker Classic in Gardena. His most recent second place finish at the RunGood Poker Series Main Event at Downstream Casino in 2022 doubled his tournament earnings by adding $48,180 to his bank roll. This weekend he'll be looking to make it back to a position to close it out for a Contenders Title.
