Total Entrants: 472
Players Remaining: 13
Chip Average: 726,000
The final table is on the horizon with only three eliminations left before 10 players remain. Bill Latta and Matt Doyle are on the outside looking in after being sent out.
Michael Pelt opened to 35,000 in the cutoff and Latta (pictured) defended his big blind. Latta shoved the 9♥7♣4♠ flop and Pelt thought it over for two minutes and called with A♠7♠. Latta was drawing with J♣8♣ and picked up more outs on the 6♣ turn. The 2♥ river was nothing but a brick and Latta departed. Pelt extends his lead up to 2,650,000.
Chris Conrad raised to 35,000 from the hijack and Doyle (pictured) called the small blind and Hutch Clinton came in from the big blind. Doyle led for 35,000 on the A♣Q♥6♥ flop and only Conrad stuck around to the 6♠ turn.
Doyle ripped 295,000 effective and Conrad gave it a quick ponder and called with A♦9♣. The K♠Q♦ of Doyle was second-best and he let out a "really?" upon seeing Conrad's hand.
Doyle missed the river and was left with 65,000. Those chips went to Ray Green a few hands later. Conrad is the chip leader on his table with 850,000. 10 minutes remain until the 45-minute dinner break.
