Another day of the San Diego Poker Classic will be getting underway! The schedule sits currently with the first weekend of the series which features the Weekend Opener NLH that is a $300 buy-in, 30,000 starting stack, and $50,000 guarantee multi-flight event. After Flight A and B, the $50,000 prizepool has been reached with two more flights to take off this Saturday after a total of 230 entrants have played with 30 advancing. At 2PM today, the Poker League of Nations Ladies Event will commence as well. Founded by Lena Evans in 2017, the Poker League of Nations (PLON) is an ‘International Alliance for Poker Excellence’ with the aim of proactively increasing the participation of women in poker worldwide, in order to grow open player fields. PLON has engaged women to participate exponentially in open events, as well as introduced women to online poker who have never played online.
